You can use AirPlay as alternative for Smart TVs that don't support the On Air app. To cast shows from the Chrome browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac directly to your TV or AirPlay-enabled device, simply follow these steps:
- Connect your computer and AirPlay device to the same wireless network
- Go to https://onair.events/ using Safari (or Chrome on iPhone and iPad)
- Log in and choose the show you want to watch
- When the show starts playing, Click the AirPlay button .
- Under 'Connect to a device', select your AirPlay device from the device list
Please visit the Apple AirPlay help pages to learn more about how to Airplay to your TV.
Troubleshooting AirPlay issues:
AirPlay device not visible?
- Make sure that your AirPlay-enabled devices are turned on and near each other
- Check that your AirPlay devices are on the same WiFi network
- Sometimes, it helps to restart your devices if AirPlay does not work
Some TVs that support AirPlay may not appear in the list of devices by default. Depending on your TV's brand and operating system, you may need to first set the TV's input to AirPlay. Your TV should then be visible on the available AirPlay devices. To do this:
1. Press the SOURCE / INPUT button () on your TV remote
2. From the list of TV inputs, select AirPlay
Experiencing sound on a black screen?
Always use the AirPlay function, which is visible in the bottom right corner of the player. When Screen Mirroring is used, you may see a black screen and hear only sound. This is because our content is protected against screen recordings, and screen mirroring is registered as a similar function.
