When deciding between the 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos  and HD + Stereo qualities, it's essential to consider your setup and preferences. Here's a breakdown to help you make an informed decision:

*Please note not all shows are available in 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Device Compatibility:

4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos is only supported on a limited number of devices. Before making a purchase on On Air, please ensure that your device is compatible with these premium technologies.

Streaming shows in 4K UHD with Dolby qualities require and HDCP 2.2 compliant connection to a 4K-enabled display.

Audio Visual Downscaling:

If your device supports 4K UHD Dolby Vision but not Dolby Atmos, the audio will automatically downscale to 5.1 or to stereo, and vice versa. Similarly, if your device doesn't support Vision, the content will downgrade to HDR10 or SDR.

If 4K UHD is not supported or your internet connection is to slow, the resolution will change to QHD ,HD or SD. We advice you to check your device specifications before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

Alternatives:

If your device cannot support both 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound, opting for the HD + Stereo version is highly recommended - this quality is still excellent.
